Therapy for Burnout

Therapy for Mom Burnout

Motherhood asks a lot of you — often more than anyone else can see. Maybe you're running on empty but still show up every day. Maybe you feel numb, disconnected, or like you're just going through the motions. Maybe you used to enjoy things that now just feel like one more task.

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone.

At Mighty Oak Parenting, I provide online therapy for moms in Georgia and Florida who are experiencing burnout from the constant demands of motherhood, work, and caretaking. Together, we work to understand what's depleting you and rebuild a sense of energy and balance.

What Does Mom Burnout Look Like?

Burnout is more than being tired — it's a deeper kind of depletion. For many moms, it shows up as:

- chronic exhaustion that sleep doesn't fix
- feeling emotionally numb or "checked out"

- resentment toward your partner, kids, or responsibilities

- loss of interest in things you used to enjoy

- irritability or a shorter temper than usual

- feeling like you're failing no matter how much you do

- carrying the invisible mental load of the entire household

Burnout doesn't mean you're not trying hard enough — often it means you've been trying too hard, for too long, without enough support.

 Therapy for Burned-Out Moms

Many mothers carry the mental load of parenting, work, relationships, and caretaking — often without anyone noticing how much they're holding. Over time, this constant pressure can leave you feeling depleted and disconnected from yourself.

Therapy can help you:

- identify what's driving your burnout
- rebuild energy and motivation
- set boundaries that actually stick
- reconnect with parts of yourself outside of "mom"
- reduce resentment and reconnect with your family
- create sustainable routines instead of just pushing through

My approach is compassionate and practical — because you don't need another to-do list, you need real support.

Support for Burned-Out Moms in Georgia & Florida

I provide online therapy for women and mothers throughout Georgia and Florida navigating:

- chronic stress and exhaustion
- emotional depletion and numbness
- the invisible mental load of motherhood
- resentment or disconnection in relationships
- loss of identity outside of parenting
- caregiver fatigue

If you feel like you've been running on empty for too long, therapy can help you find your way back to yourself.
